6. Metamaterial Radar Arrays

In antenna design and radar performance, metamaterial radar arrays constitute a major development. Enhanced beam steering, better signal-to----noise ratios, and smaller system size are made possible by these synthetic materials' electromagnetic characteristics not found in natural form. Faster scanning rates and improved target tracking follow from the ability of highly directed beams created by the technology to be electronically steered without mechanical movement. Modern air defence uses metamaterial arrays especially as they can run over a wider frequency range and preserve high efficiency.
