This creative system builds a complete detecting grid by means of a network of autonomous underwater vehicles cooperating. Every swarm unit can dynamically change its position to maximise tracking and coverage and carries several sensor kinds. The artificial intelligence of the swarm helps it to adapt to threats and changing environment, thereby distributing resources as necessary to preserve best detection coverage.
